Update on Bryan Mbeumo’s contract at Man United

Manchester United has officially secured the signing of Bryan Mbeumo, a talented Cameroon international forward, from fellow Premier League club Brentford.

The Red Devils confirmed the transfer on their official website on Monday, July 21, 2025, after reaching an agreement with the Bees. Bryan Mbeumo’s arrival marks Manchester United’s third acquisition of the 2025 summer transfer window, following the earlier signings of Matheus Cunha and left-back Diego Leon.

Transfer Details:

Manchester United finalized a deal with Brentford for Bryan Mbeumo worth an initial £65 million, with an additional £6 million in performance-related add-ons.

Contract Length:

Mbeumo penned a five-year deal, committing him to Old Trafford until 2030. He joins Manchester United having made a significant impact at Brentford, scoring 70 goals and registering 51 assists in 242 appearances since his arrival in 2019.

Jersey Number:

The winger will wear the number 19 shirt for Manchester United and is expected to join the squad for their pre-season tour of the United States, which commences on Tuesday.

In his most successful season to date, Mbeumo netted 20 goals and provided seven assists in the Premier League last season.
