Ten Hag’s tenure was brief, lasting less than two months before his dismissal due to a poor start to the season. Kasper Hjulmand, the former coach of the Danish national team, signed a two-year contract on Monday, September 8, 2025, which runs until the summer of 2027.

He brings significant experience to the role, having led Denmark to the semifinals of the 2021 European Championships, where they were defeated by England in extra time.
