Manchester City Football Club have announced the signing of a Brazilian winger, Savinho from Troyes via its official website on Thursday, July 18, 2024.
Manchester City announced the arrival of the Savinho on a five-year deal which will see him remain at the club until 2029. The 2023/24 Premier League Champions have begun their quest to win the Premier League for the fifth consecutive time, a feat that has never been achieved in the history of the trophy.
Savinho’s signing will be a great addon to the club following his impressive performance with Girona last season. He was a key part of the team that helped the Spanish side qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history.
Confirming his signing at Man City, Savinho said: “I’m so happy to be joining Manchester City, the Premier League champions and Club World Cup winners. Everyone knows they are the best team in the world right now, so to be here is very exciting for me. I am excited about the chance to work under Pep Guardiola, one of the greatest coaches ever, and someone I know will help me improve even more.

Savinho made his debut for Atletico Goianiense at age 16, where he made 35 appearances for the Brazilian side scoring twice, which include a goal against Independiente in the Copa Libertadores.
He went on loan to Dutch club PSV Eindhoven in 2022/23 After joining Troyes before spending last season at Girona. Scoring 11 goals, he contributed 10 assists for the Catalonia side as they finished in 3rd place behind Real Madrid and Barcelona.
