N’Golo Kante, a former Chelsea player, could be making a return to the Premier League, two years after leaving England for a Saudi Arabian club side, Al-Ittihad.
Transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed this on his official social media accounts on Friday, July 19, 2024, that West Ham United have initiated discussions with Al-Ittihad, so as to enable N’Golo Kante to return back to the Premier League.
The French international garnered attention from football enthusiasts due to his outstanding performance for France at the recent Euro 2024. He was recognized as one of the best players for France, winning the Player of the Match award more than once out of the six games he played in the tournament.
However, reports from the Saudi-based club indicate that Kante has been deemed not for sale. The club’s board sees Kante as a highly professional player and a vital contributor for their team as the 2024/25 season draws near.
