Jadon Sancho has finally returned to Manchester United for pre-season training after resolving issues with the club’s manager, Erik Ten Hag.
The Jadon Sancho had a falling out with the club’s (Manchester United) manager last seaon, leading to him training separately from the first team after contradicting Erik Ten Hag’s comments following a game against Arsenal in the 2023/24 season. This disagreement resulted in 24-year-old being loaned back to his former club, Borussia Dortmund, in January 2024.
During his time at Dortmund, Sancho played a significant role in the team’s success, including reaching the UEFA Champions League final, where they were defeated by Real Madrid. Following a meeting earlier in the week between Ten Hag and Sancho, which both parties now agrees to put their differences behind them.

Sancho’s returned was officially announced on the club’s website on Friday, July 12, 2024. The statement reads: “A group of senior players, including Andre Onana, Casemiro, Mason Mount, and Marcus Rashford, had returned for training on Monday. Sancho returned for testing on Wednesday and joined the group for training on Thursday.”
The press release also noted that Sancho will not participate in United’s first pre-season friendly against Rosenborg in Norway on Monday, July 15, 2024.
But he is expected to be available for the rest of United’s pre-season schedule, which includes a match against Rangers at Murrayfield on July 20 and a three-match tour of the United States.
