NNPC-SNEPCO National University Scholarship, 2025
The Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo), in collaboration with Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited and its co-venture partners, is now accepting applications for the 2025 NNPC – SNEPCo National University Scholarship Program.
This initiative aims to foster academic excellence and enhance the skills of young Nigerians by providing annual grants to successful applicants from their second year of study until they complete their undergraduate degrees.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this merit-based scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must Be a Nigerian.
- Be currently in their second year of full-time study at any Public Nigerian University accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
- Maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 on a 5-point scale, or its equivalent in other grading systems.
- Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship from an entity within the Oil and Gas industry, whether national or international.
Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Selection Process
The selection process is rigorous and transparent:
- Applications must be submitted online via the scholarship portal by the specified deadline.
- Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited for a monitored computer-based test.
- The top 10 candidates from each of Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory will be shortlisted for academic verification before a scholarship offer is made.
- Any candidate found to have submitted falsified results will be immediately disqualified.
- Successful candidates will be contacted directly to receive their scholarship award.
- Scholarship recipients must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 per academic session (on a 5-point scale or equivalent) to sustain the award.

- Ensure you have a valid personal email account and phone number.

- Fill in all required personal and educational details accurately.
- Upload scanned copies of the following documents (in JPEG format, not exceeding 200 kilobytes for images):
- A recent passport-sized photograph.
- University or JAMB Admission Letter.
- Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) Result.
- O’ Level Result(s); and ‘A’ Level/ OND/ NCE Result(s) (if applicable).
- Letter of Identification from your State of Origin, clearly stating your local government of origin.
- Academic results (CGPA) after completing your 100 level.
