Victor Boniface reason of failed AC Milan medicals

Victor Boniface, the Super Eagles forward, has become a subject of widespread discussion among football enthusiasts in Nigeria and globally following his failed medical examination with AC Milan.

The proposed transfer was ultimately canceled after scans revealed “red flags” and structural concerns in his right knee. These issues stemmed from Victor Boniface history of injuries, specifically two prior anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears in 2019 and 2020 during his tenure at Bodo/Glimt.

According to reports, the scans indicated lingering instabilities and scar tissue, which prompted Milan’s medical team to conclude that the long-term risks were too high for the club.

What did Victor Boniface said concerning report of his failed medicals?

The Nigerian striker Victor Boniface recently explained the reason his transfer to AC Milan fell through during a live stream. He confessed that a history of repeated injuries, including two previous anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears, has significantly affected his career.

Boniface shared the emotional toll of his experience, stating, “I gave up at a point. When others were playing football, I was just working to get back. After my second ACL injury, I didn’t even want to play again because of the pain of the first and what I went through during the second. I lost my mum around that time too.”

He was candid about the failed transfer, admitting, “The move didn’t work out because of my past injuries. I had a knee injury twice on my right leg, and it has been there for a long time. Try to make it to my level before you insult me.”

As a result, Boniface will now return to Bayer Leverkusen and compete for his place under the guidance of former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
