As the 2025/26 football season approaches, Arsenal Football Club has been notably active in the summer transfer market, making significant acquisitions to strengthen their squad for the upcoming campaign.
Following the disappointing conclusion to their 2024/25 season, the Gunners have moved swiftly to address key areas, aiming to secure major silverware this season.
Here are the list of players Arsenal brought in during the 2025 summer transfer window:
1. Kepa Arrizabalaga for £5 million. The Spanish international brings valuable depth and experience to the goalkeeping position, serving as an experienced backup to David Raya. With Matt Turner’s departure, Kepa provides a reliable option for cup competitions and in case of injuries.
2. Martin Zubimendi (£56 million): The north london side successfully acquired Spanish midfielder Martín Zubimendi from Real Sociedad. His arrival is anticipated to fill the gaps left by the departures of Jorginho and Thomas Partey, signifying a strategic move to enhance control and resilience in Arsenal’s midfield.
3. Christian Nørgaard (£12 million): The Gunners have bolstered their defensive midfield options with the signing of Christian Nørgaard from Brentford. With over 100 Premier League appearances, Nørgaard’s experience, leadership, work rate, and consistent performances will be crucial for squad rotation and maintaining intensity throughout a demanding season.
4. Cristhian Mosquera (£13 million): Nineteen-year-old Spanish defender Cristhian Mosquera has joined Arsenal from Valencia. With a burgeoning reputation, he is expected to develop significantly under the tutelage of established defenders like Gabriel and Saliba, while also providing valuable depth to the defensive line.
5. Noni Madueke (£52 million): Noni Madueke is the latest Chelsea player to join the gunners. The talented winger is expected to add significant attacking prowess on the flanks and potentially serve as a direct replacement for Bukayo Saka. The England international is renowned for his blistering pace, exceptional dribbling skills, and keen eye for goal.
6. Viktor Gyökeres (£64 million including add-ons): The gunners has completed their marquee signing with Viktor Gyökeres, the prolific Swedish striker who had an outstanding season in the Portuguese league with Sporting CP. Having scored 30 goals last season, Gyökeres is expected to finally address Arsenal’s long-standing need for a consistent and high-scoring center-forward.
