Ola Aina decides on future at Nottingham Forest

Ola Aina has committed to stay at Nottingham Forest till the end of 2025/2026 Premier League season and beyond.

According to Nottingham Forest, the full-back Ola Aina signed a new contract that will see him remain at the City Ground until the summer of 2028.

The Nigerian international gave an impressive form during the 2024/2025 club football season, making 37 appearances in all competitions, prompting the club to secure his services on a longer-term basis.

Aina who came from Chelsea’s youth academy, has played for Hull City, Torino, and Fulham before joining Forest. Speaking after the contract renewal, Aina said:

“I’m absolutely thrilled. From the moment I arrived, it’s felt like home here. I’m grateful for the support and now focused on getting ready for the new season.”

Forest’s owner, Evangelos Marinakis, also commended Aina’s impact on and off the pitch:

“Ola brings quality, resilience, and the right attitude. He represents the values we stand for as a club. We’re excited to continue building with him as part of the team.”
